How long have you been in business?
We started in April 1999
What is your primary product or service?
We are wholesale distributors of organic produce.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
President Mitch Blumenthal has a degree in business with his focus on the hospitality industry. An avid gardner turned organic farmer, the business was a natural evolution of his own interest in providing health foods to others.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are small enough to work as a close team with a mutual focus on providing the best quality produce. We work closely with small organic farms and have a special understanding of their challenges since our owner is a farmer too.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one location. We do not want to send food further than our current area, which is the Southeastern portion of the USA. We continue to grow within our territory and expand our product line based on customer feedback.
Provide detailed directions to your location
We do not have a retail outlet, but if you want to visit, take the Sarasota University Parkway Exit from I-75 going West to Route 301. Make a right (north) on 301 and a left at the first light onto Tallevast. At the next light, turn right on 15th Street East and you will find us in the Sarasota Brandeton Commerce Center on the right, just after the Goodwill Store.
What type of payments do you accept?
C.O.D. at first,and then terms or credit card once the relationship is established.
Which areas do you service?
Our excellent logistics program delivers to customers in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennesee, North and South Carolina.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our company is owned by Mitch Blumenthal, CEO/President
What are your hours of operation?
We are open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving (but our trucks roll 365 days a year!) and our Sales Dept. is here until 6:00 p.m.
