Venice Golf and Country Club - private-member owned; open to golf memberships outside the community
The Venice Golf and Country Club is a private, member-owned golf and country club. Located off Center Road, we are very close to the local beaches, airports, shopping, cultural center in Venice and Sarasota. VGCC re-grassed our golf course and installed a new state of the art irrigation system during the summer of 2015. We have a newly renovated Clubhouse with lots of social activities as well as elegant and casual dining. Our Junior Olympic size pool accommodates water aerobics and lap lanes. The Fitness Center is equipped with lots of new equipment and a full time Fitness Instructor. There are 4 Har-Tru tennis courts and a very active tennis association that is managed by our full time Tennis Instructor. Residency in the VGCC community is not a requirement for a golf membership.
